Jelly Belly has announced sweeping layoffs in California after shutting down a major corporate and commercial operation in the state. Ferrara Candy Company, its Chicago-based owner, revealed on Wednesday 69 workers will be axed at the headquarters in Fairfield, near San Francisco, in June.
