Mikaela Shiffrin proved this week she’s got a big heart to go along with her all-world skiing talent. The Olympic hero, who won gold in the women’s slalom competition last week, took time out of her Monday afternoon to send a sweet message to a journalist who had just been terminated from the Washington Post. Mikaela Shiffrin won gold in the women’s slalom at the Winter Olympics earlier this month.
