A powerful nor’easter could be headed for NYC: Here’s how much snow we’ll get and when it’ll start

There’s no rest for the winter-weary. Sick-of-the-snow New Yorkers could get buried by another half foot this weekend, as a powerful powerful nor’easter  with possible “blizzard condition” churns off the Atlantic coast, meteorologists said Friday. The Big Apple is likely to be hit by 3 to 6 inches of snow Sunday evening into Monday morning with strong wind gusts up to 40 mph, said AccuWeather chief meteorologist Jonathan Porter.
