MILAN — Canada’s captain is injured. Sidney Crosby retreated to the locker room in the second period of a quarterfinal matchup with Czechia at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics on Wednesday and was ruled out for the rest of the game with a lower-body injury. Sandwiched by Czechia’s Radko Gudas and Martin Necas, the 38-year-old Crosby was slow to the bench and looked to be in pain while speaking with a trainer.
