Search suspended for husband who fell through ice with wife on Cape Cod

The search for a man who fell through the ice with his wife in Cape Cod has been suspended for being too dangerous for rescue teams, authorities said. The unidentified husband and wife were walking with their dog early Saturday when they fell through the ice on Bee’s River, with rescuers initially finding the wife screaming for help, according to the Cape Cod Times. Two first responders fell through the ice while trying to rescue the woman, whose body was found hours later on Saturday.
