Teen shot as lawless mob takes over DTLA streets — hours after student agitators clashed with cops nearby

A teenager has been shot after gunfire erupted at a chaotic street takeover in downtown Los Angeles overnight. The 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital with a bullet wound after a gun went off at 1:06 am in the area of 18th and Main streets. Cops descended on the scene but the hooligans had quickly dispersed before they could make any arrests, the LAPD said.
