A California man’s winter getaway turned into a nightmare after a fatal accident on the slopes of a ski resort in the greater North Lake Tahoe. Nicholas Kenworthy, 26, was killed Friday while skiing at the Northstar California Resort in Truckee, authorities confirmed. The Los Angeles resident was tackling the “Martis” trail–a grueling Black Diamond run on the mountain’s backside — when disaster struck.
