Gavin Newsom took a hit 3,000 miles away after a billboard was unveiled in New York City’s iconic Times Square comparing the California governor to the NFL’s hapless New York Jets. The ad, launched ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl by the California Business & Industrial Alliance, blares that Newsom’s “record is worse than the Jets. ” The team finished with a league-low 3-14 record this season.
