New York City officials are investigating a buzzy new Brooklyn bakery that’s brazenly curbing local health laws by welcoming packs of non-service dogs inside — after one pampered pooch allegedly bit a customer. Brooklyn resident Daniel Griffin told health department officials he was bitten inside the cafe by a cross Corgi on Dec. 20 at Birdee — a popular Williamsburg bakery peddling $15 sandwiches and Instagrammable pastries.
