A nutjob whacked a 71-year-old man in the face with a shovel during a random attack in Brooklyn while the Big Apple was blanketed in snow, police said.   The attacker crept up and said nothing when he smashed the elderly victim in the head during the terrifying assault near Stryker Court and West 1st Street in Gravesend around 11:30 a. m.
