Jasmine Crockett warned while accusing Lee Zeldin of taking donations from “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein” — claiming she “very quickly” found evidence linking the Long Island Republican to the late sex offender, who died in jail awaiting trial in August 2019. Crockett (D-Texas) cited Federal Election Commission filings, which actually show two different men named Jeffrey Epstein donated to Zeldin, now President Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency administrator, while he represented New York in the House.
