FAA lifts order slashing flights — here’s when commercial airlines will resume regular schedules

The Federal Aviation Administration will lift its sweeping restrictions on commercial flights at 40 major US airports during the historic government shutdown, the agency and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced Sunday.    The emergency order will officially lift on Monday at 6 a. m.
