The 27-year-old woman fatally struck by a wrong-way driver in Greenwich Village this week has been identified as a transplant from Massachusetts who was planning to get married next year. Valerie Schoeck – originally from Cambridge but living in the West Village – was crossing Morton Street at the Seventh Avenue South intersection just after 8:30 a. m.
