The parents of a Long Island teacher accused of sexting a young teen intend to use their house as collateral to secure the alleged perv’s release, the suspect’s lawyer said. Mark Verity appeared in a Suffolk County court Saturday on charges that he sent sexual messages to someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl, and trying to involve the purported victim in a sex act. The married father of two was allegedly caught in a sting operation run by Predator Poachers Long Island, a vigilante group that seeks to catch would-be abusers.
