Portuguese motorcyclist Jorge Brandao died Friday after an accident during the Morocco Rally, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme announced in a release. Brandao, whom The Sun reported to be 47, crashed in the dunes at Kilometre 214 during Stage 5 of his second time competing in the race, per the release. The event medical team attended to him and then transferred him via flight to a hospital in Erfoud, where he later died from the injuries he suffered.
