A driver of a reportedly stolen vehicle stopped for gas in the middle of a high-speed chase with California cops on Friday and still got away, wild news helicopter footage showed. The driver pulled up to a pump at a Shell gas station in Wilshire, Los Angeles, in a pilfered blue Infinity sedan in the middle of a chase with police that saw speeds of up to 100 MPH, KABC reported. Video showed the man nervously filling up his tank, pacing alongside the driver’s side of his car with his shirt pulled over his face as the news helicopter hovered above.
