Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward has been accused in a civil lawsuit of physically and sexually assaulting the mother of his 3-year-old son while under the influence of crystal meth — in the presence of their child, according to Harris County court records. Ward, 34, was arrested on June 12 on a felony domestic violence charge for allegedly choking Cristy West, who he was in a relationship with for multiple years, and was arrested again two weeks ago for testing positive for alcohol, a violation of his bond conditions. Now, in addition to the pending criminal charge, he’s facing a civil suit seeking more than $20 million in damages.
