It was a battle for firsts on centre court on Saturday. American star Amanda Anisimova and four-time French Open champion Iga Świątek each competed in their first Wimbledon final for their first major title on grass, and Świątek came on top in a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory at the All England Club on Sunday. It’s the first time a losing player has failed to win a game in the women’s final since 1988.
