Hopefully, Amit Patel did not bet on his legal troubles being over. Patel, an imprisoned former Jaguars staffer who stole more than $22 million from the Jacksonville franchise, is facing grand theft charges in Florida, according to state records obtained Thursday by ESPN. The 32-year-old is staring down six counts of grand theft, which, under Florida state law, notes that grand theft of $100,000 or higher is considered a first-degree felony that is punishable by up to a 30-year prison sentence.
