Despite fans’ cries for his arrival in The Bronx this year, George Lombard Jr. will almost certainly spend the full season in the minor leagues. But the 20-year-old will get a taste of the big leagues this weekend, one that seven current Yankees got when they were in his shoes, by playing in the Futures Game on Saturday night at Truist Park in Atlanta.
