Yankees broadcaster Dave Sims announced he would not be on the call for the series finale between the Mets and Yankees. Sims is dealing with laryngitis and the illness became too much of an issue to deal with for him to be behind the mic in The Bronx on Sunday night. “Anyone listening to Saturday’s game on WFAN heard my voice on its way out,” Sims wrote on X.
