The last time Lehman College won a baseball game, it had been May 9, 2023. For the 42 games since then, the Lightning failed to come out on top before Tuesday night when they finally snapped the losing streak against another struggling program that had lost 100 straight games, Yeshiva University. In an interview with NBC News’ Tom Llamas aired during Wednesday’s “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt,” Lehman pitcher Justin Chamorro described the struggle the team felt to keep its head up as they continued to suffer loss after loss.
