A 23-year-old college student from UC Berkeley remained in custody under Immigration and Customs Enforcement as of Wednesday after agents ambushed her last week at San Francisco’s airport before a planned vacation. Paula Valentina Albornoz Hernandez is a citizen of Colombia who has lived in the United States since 2022, according to her attorneys. 6 Paula Albornoz Hernandez, 23, remains in federal detention following her arrest by ICE at San Francisco International Airport.
