President Donald Trump on Saturday made a last-minute plea to New Yorkers to vote for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman on Election Day, saying the Nassau County executive can save the Empire State from Gov. Kathy Hochul’s “failed and incompetent” leadership. “Kathy Hochul may be the worst governor in the history of New York State and one of the worst in the nation,” roared the commander-in-chief during a tele-rally promoting the campaigns of Blakeman and two other New York Republicans, Attorney General candidate Saritha Komatireddy and upstate congressional hopeful Anthony Constantino.
