The jury foreperson at Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial sent out a total of six notes before a judge was forced to declare a mistrial, new court papers revealed. Prosecutors included excerpts of the notes — which confirmed the panel was deadlocked for days before the decision-making process finally ended on Sept. 4 — as they asked a judge to deny Clancy’s bid to have the charges tossed.
