A Georgia family who paid a veterinary clinic to put their beloved Pug down found out months later on Facebook that a worker instead took the dog home and he appeared to be thriving. Worse, when the family demanded answers about Cha Cha, the clinic took the dog back from the worker and euthanized him, the pooch’s owner Rebecca Belote told WSB-TV. Cha Cha was adored by Belote and her family but was suffering organ failure from diabetic keto acidosis, Belote told the outlet.
