A hero teacher tackled mass shooter Griffin J. John II — who was armed to the teeth when he stormed an Oregon elementary school special education classroom, according to authorities. The quick-thinking teacher hurled her cellphone at John, 16, and tackled him to the ground to wrestle away his firearm inside Silver Rail Elementary School on Thursday afternoon, Bend Police Chief Mike Krantz said at a press conference on Friday.
