Nick Reiner, who has been indicted for slaying his famed Hollywood parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, paid for his defense in the murder case using the family’s trust fund. Paul Kanin, the former administrator of the trust, revealed that the “Being Charlie” writer received nearly $3,48,000 to pay his former defense lawyer, Alan Jackson, according to court documents accessed by TMZ. 4 Reiner was indicted for the 2025 murder of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, in their Los Angeles home.
