The end of Sunday’s Giants vs. Commanders matchup was astounding, and NFL insider Adam Schefter expects it to have future consequences for Washington. On Monday’s edition of “Get Up,” Schefter compared the mistake by Dan Quinn and the Commanders that led to a 27-27 tie in overtime to the aftermath of the Miracle at the Meadowlands — the infamous Giants fumble against the Eagles in 1978 that cost offensive coordinator Bob Gibson his job the following morning and head coach John McVay his job at the end of the season.
