Chargers offensive tackle Rashawn Slater underwent successful ankle surgery. The Pro Bowler had a tight-rope procedure done with the purpose of accelerating his return from a high-ankle sprain. Slater, who sustained the ankle injury in Week 4 against the Seahawks, will be placed on injured reserve and begin rehabbing.
