A Texas high school teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female student after investigators discovered locked journal entries on the teen’s phone that described the pair kissing, cuddling and discussing having to hide their love. Gloria Resendiz, a 35-year-old teacher at Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, turned herself in to police on Tuesday and is facing charges for grooming and sexual contact with a child, according to police. Just months ago, Resendiz was featured in a local Telemundo 39 report about her work as a national referee for US Soccer.
