A Fresno contractor who worked on a home featured in an HGTV pilot died Monday while hiking Mount Whitney, local reports said. The Tulares County Coroner’s Office confirmed to The California Post that Kalem Peter Kazarian, 52, died this week but noted his location of death as Sequoias National Park, just a long hike away from the famed mountain. Kazarian worked as a contractor in the Fresno area and assisted on a May 2019 HGTV episode of “Go Big or Go Home.
