Americans’ views on China have significantly warmed in recent years — with about one in five US adults now holding a positive opinion about the country, according to a surprising survey. The share of Americans with a warm view of the one-party authoritarian country increased from 11% in 2021 to 19% today, a Pew Research Center survey released Wednesday found. Meanwhile, the share of US adults with a cold view of China has plummeted from 68% to 54%.
