Alejandro Tosti was left holding the bag. The Argentinian golfer’s caddie quit halfway through the opening round of the PGA Tour’s Biltmore Championship Asheville on Thursday in a bizarre scene. Cliff Ellis, on the bag for the 30-year-old at the 18th hole — Tosti’s ninth of the day — “dropped the bag, took off his caddie bib and walked off,” according to a Golfweek source.
