Jen Belichick, the wife of Steve Belichick, said there was “misinformation and speculation” over the former UNC defensive coordinator’s resignation amid the conclusion of an internal investigation into the football program. In her statement, released to ESPN’s Field Yates, Jen Belichick said the family was “grateful for our time and our opportunity in Chapel Hill. ” “We are very proud of our influence on the positive direction of the program,” her statement continued.
