It’s only been one week into the NFL season, and the Los Angeles Chargers might have a hole at the wide receiver position. Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey’s status for Week 2 remains up in the air as he is considered “day to day,” leaving the team with a need to address the position. According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Chargers brought in former two-time Super Bowl champion Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a workout Tuesday, and later signed him to the team’s practice squad, which could indicate that McConkey could be unavailable in Sunday’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
