Browns head coach Todd Monken gave embattled quarterback Deshaun Watson as good a 31st birthday present as he could have asked for after Cleveland was decimated in its season opener against the Jaguars on Sunday, while Watson struggled. Monken gave his QB the gift of another chance to start in Week 2 when the Browns face the Buccaneers in Tampa. “I anticipate Deshaun will be our starter,” the Browns coach told reporters on Monday, 24 hours after the ugly 34-10 loss to the Jaguars.
