With injuries suddenly mounting to their big-league lineup, the Dodgers are turning to one of the best prospects in the sport to help bolster their offense. Outfielder Josue De Paula is being called up directly from double-A, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The California Post on Wednesday, and will be officially activated on Friday when the Dodgers open a road trip in Miami. The move, which was first reported by ESPN, comes as the Dodgers plan to place Shohei Ohtani on the injured amid his ongoing left knee and right arm issues, as manager Dave Roberts announced Wednesday night.
