Police shot and killed a man on the Brooklyn Bridge after he charged at them with a knife early Friday, according to sources, snarling the morning commute. Officers had responded to someone in need and found the knife-wielding man climbing the cables, sources said. He lunged at them and police opened fire, killing him, according to the sources.
