If Bill Belichick was hoping to have a controversy-free second season at the helm of North Carolina’s football program, he had better think again. First, general manager Michael Lombardi resigned Thursday, and now reports indicate that a university-initiated probe is looking into the actions of defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, Bill Belichick’s son. WRAL reported that lawyers hired as part of the investigation are looking into whether Steve Belichick used drugs while on the job or had given at least one player drugs during his time at UNC.
