The San Francisco 49ers have parted ways with veteran running back Patrick Taylor Jr. and have removed him from the team’s injured reserve list. Because he was on the team’s injured list, Taylor’s does not count as a member of the team’s 90-man roster, meaning his release will not affect San Francisco’s path to narrowing the roster down to 53 players.
