San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York, now ensnared in an embarrassing $140 prostitution sting involving an online ad and trailer park, had long painted himself as a devoted family man to the team’s fanbase. The 49ers’ CEO and controlling owner was arrested Sunday on suspicion of engaging in prostitution near his northeastern Ohio hometown. He pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors — disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools — and spent the night in jail.
