Observations from Monday’s Jets practice: Something good Omar Cooper Jr. threw the ball a mile into the air in celebration after catching an 18-yard touchdown pass to punctuate a practice-ending two-minute drill. Geno Smith, who was 5-of-5 on the drive, looked off the coverage and came to the rookie in perfect timing.
