The Islanders finally have their lighthouse project. After days of fan voting on the fan-designed Islanders alternate jerseys for the 2027-28 season, the team announced the final uniform Thursday evening, with the navy lighthouse uniform emerging as the winner. The design features orange and teal piping on the bottom and arms of the jersey, white and orange numbering, and a lighthouse in the middle.
