California’s iconic coastal highway unleashes speed cameras on Malibu drivers

One of California’s most scenic roadways is turning to high-tech eyes to catch speeding drivers. Malibu has installed speed cameras as part of its Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) Speed Safety System, which is nearing its completion. The city called the safety system necessary because of the dozens of traffic deaths that have occurred along Malibu’s 21-mile portion of PCH since 2010.
