There’s always a risk of injury during the preseason, but usually that is for the players and not the coaches. Nevertheless, that wasn’t the case on Thursday night during the Colts’ tie against the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Indianapolis special teams coordinator Brian Mason appeared to get hurt on the final play of the 13-13 tie when Colts quarterback Riley Leonard attempted a Hail Mary pass and the Indy assistant coach got taken out along the sideline.
