Almost half of New Yorkers oppose the new lefty Democratic Socialists of America movement, according to a newly released poll. Only 30% of likely Empire State voters told Siena University they take a favorable view of the DSA, while 47% view them unfavorably and another 23% were unsure. Most of the DSA’s popularity is centered in New York City — with 49% of Big Apple respondents in favor of the political organization, which has surged in notoriety since the rise of Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
