A North Carolina man has defied the odds and hit the lottery for the second time in two years — securing a hefty jackpot which he plans to channel into community philanthropy. Cristien Breton, of Salisbury, won a substantial $100,000 prize on a scratch-off ticket he bought last week, after he claimed a whopping $2 million jackpot in 2024. The lucky gambler said he is now committing the funds to helping underprivileged children as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
