American golfer Michael Thorbjornsen, 24, produced an insane surge in the final round of the 2026 Rocket Classic on Sunday at Detroit Golf Club, which earned him the first PGA Tour win of his career. Thorbjornsen entered the day at 11 under par; which, while solid, didn’t have him likely to win the tournament. Then he produced a stellar 7-under score in the final round, putting him at 18 under overall and placing him atop the leaderboard.
