Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters never heard Brandon Aiyuk’s name during Tuesday’s press conference, but there was little mystery about the player being discussed. NBC 4’s JP Finlay asked Peters “in a general sense” whether a potential addition’s social-media activity factors into Washington’s evaluation. The careful wording allowed Peters to address the issue without naming the disgruntled receiver who remains under contract with the San Francisco 49ers and creating a possible tampering concern.
